Description/Job Summary

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for envisioning, communicating, and evolving an organization’s enterprise architecture. The enterprise architecture addresses key enterprise aspects - business processes and strategies, value streams, data and information, and supporting technologies – and how they fit together and are expected to evolve over time.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Analyze and understand application, system & solution requirements
  • Understand how all solutions integrate across the firm and outline the best practice for the disparate systems to work efficiently and securely
  • Evaluate systems for efficiency gains, discrepancies and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
  • Ensure the efficiency, security, and support of the organization's goals through Information Technology initiatives
  • Create methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control
  • Determine and implement build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy
  • Design and create database E-R diagram, program overall logic and essential program classes
  • Lead & support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing projects
  • Develop system and user requirements for new business applications & Solutions
  • Design and develop user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by determining design methodologies, completing programming languages and software products; designing and conducting tests

Required Skills

  • Excellent organization, communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience of developing and designing enterprise level software , using full development life cycle
  • Experience in both On Premise and Cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to write efficient and robust documentation

Preferred Skills

  • Graphics and interface design skills

Required Experience

  • 10 + years of relevant experience required; experience working in a global enterprise

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required

Salary Information

NY only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $170k to $200k at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning that it is not overtime pay eligible.
