This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits. Optional coverages can begin on your first active duty date. Principal Accountabilities

Principal Accountabilities
1. First –Line field police officer.
2. Patrols college campus in an efficient process, to deter criminal acts.
3. Responds to calls for assistance, investigate in an efficient and effective manner.
4. Takes initial report of criminal acts, prepares and submits written reports.
5. Assist other outside agencies.
6. Will work day, evening or night shift.
7. Enforce the laws of The State of Texas.
8. Testifies in court as needed.
9. Manages crime scene, preserves and collects evidence.
10. Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
1. High school graduation or equivalent.
2. Basic TCOLE certification.
3. Possess the ability to use a variety of police and clerical equipment.
4. Have the ability to communicate effectively with all segments of the college.
5. Must be in good physical condition.
6. Have the ability to function under stressful conditions.
7. State of Texas Class C Driver license.

2. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with instructors, staff, administration, students, the general public and outside agencies.
