JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The incumbent will be providing clinical
patient care for patients with infectious diseases at UW Health approved
locations, and teaching medical students, residents and fellows within
the context of their clinical practice. Primary focus will be at
Meriter/UPH and East Madison UW Health locations. Opportunities for
didactic teaching and participation in other educational activities in
the division may also be available. University and community service
will be expected as appropriate. If hired as Clinical Health Services
(CHS) faculty, this position will also be expected to engage in active
collaborative research. Responsibilities: As an academic clinician on
the Clinical Health Services (CHS) track, responsibilities will involve
research, teaching and patient care. Research time will be devoted to
the general field of infectious disease and/or transplant infectious
disease. Associate clinical and research leadership roles in transplant
infectious disease are available. Clinical responsibilities for the
Clinical Health Services (CHS) track and Clinician Teacher (CT) track
will include seeing patients with infectious diseases in the outpatient
clinic and inpatient units at UW Health approved locations.
