Job Description

 
Responsibilities: Performs a variety of clerical tasks, data entry into the billing/scheduling system, basic intake duties, assists physician with physical exams, procedures, lab work and checks patients vital signs. Other duties as assigned. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. One-year prior work experience in a physicians practice or other medical setting. Prior knowledge in use of electronic medical record systems (EPIC preferred); Demonstrated skill in customer relations to deal effectively with public and physicians; Good communication skills; excellent interpersonal and telephone skills; Knowledge and proficiency in the use of equipment found in a physicians office. Medical Assistant certification preferred.
