We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will analyze financial data, manage accounting operations, and provide strategic financial insights to support business objectives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with leadership and contribute to key financial processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, billing, collections, and payroll management.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts and general ledger analysis.
• Develop and maintain cash flow reports, projecting short-term and long-term cash needs for the organization.
• Implement and improve cash management strategies to optimize collections and ensure timely billing.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance on a monthly basis.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting and internal control systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with departmental staff, providing guidance and fostering a positive team environment.
• Offer actionable financial recommendations to leadership, supporting strategic business decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
• Experience in larger organizational environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in financial forecasting, modeling, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Familiarity with financial systems such as OneStream and NetSuite.
• Strong ability to balance both high-level strategic tasks and day-to-day operational responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with executive leaders, operations teams, and accounting staff.
• Proven track record of reliability, integrity, and leadership in a detail-oriented setting.
