We’ll rely on you to provide support to our Water team on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table. You’ll work alongside local and regional thought leaders, subject matter experts, professional engineers, and designers, gaining exposure to, water resources planning & management, climate resilience, project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, data collection and so much more.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • In pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, Environmental with a focus on Water Resources, Wastewater, or Stormwater in an accredited program
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Working hybrid (in the San Diego office a minimum 2 days per week)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 3.0 GPA
  • A previous internship, teaching assistance, or research related to water/wastewater.
  • Understanding of water resources, climate change and resiliency, with knowledge of hydrologic & hydraulic modeling.
  • Programming coding and GIS skills are preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs.
  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
  • Have or are working towards an engineer-in-training (EIT) certification.

The base salary range for this position is $25.60 to $28.60 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
