Job Summary:
Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers. In this role, you will provide essential daily living assistance to our senior clients in their homes. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families. This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a competitive salary and benefits package in the healthcare/medical field.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $16 to $20 per hour

Recurring shifts, Part-time, Full-time and On-call positions

Workplace Selection: Multiple facilities to choose from, select a workplace/ Clients that suit your preferences

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and run errands
- Foster companionship and social interaction with clients
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the appropriate parties
- Provide emotional support and actively listen to clients' needs and concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Experience in caregiving or working with seniors preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and remain calm under pressure
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy nature
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as bending, kneeling, and reaching
