Description



Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking an Experienced Nursing Home Collections Specialist to join our team in our Eagan, MN office. The Nursing Home Collections Specialist must be a self-motivated, results driven professional who is detail oriented with demonstrated ability to manage accounts receivables for our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities. Candidate must also possess the ability to manage high volumes with accuracy, timely follow-up and deliver strong collection, research, reconciliation and resolution outcomes.

Job Duties
Review aging reports and initiate emails and calls to clients with past due balances to arrange for payment
Resolve client complaints and research account discrepancies
Manage A/R accounts by reducing aged balances 60 days past due
Resolve billing issues that have resulted in delinquent payment
Provide timely follow-up with clients when expected payment has not been received
Prepare credit, adjustment or customer refund documentation for account resolution
Escalate difficult collection accounts to management in a timely manner
Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education/Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in collections is required
High school degree is required. Associate degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school is preferred.
