| Job Summary: |
JOB DUTIES:
- Unload merchandise from pallets, complete a visual inspection to look for product damage and verify correct and quality contents and notify management of discrepancies.
- Work with customers to ensure they find the products they need and are made aware of other products available to them in the store.
- Assist in receiving inventory shipments and maintaining and stocking shelves in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly labeled.
- Ensure all products are easily accessible, visually appealing, and available for customers.
- Participate in the inventory and cycle count process as needed.
- Ensure that the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers by following safety policies and practices. Notify store management of any safety issues in the store.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the sales floor, warehouse and restrooms as assigned. Utilize cleaning equipment to assist in these duties.
- In addition to the above duties, you may be responsible for other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by Store Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 6 months Retail sales, and/or stocking/warehouse experience required.
- Possess the desire to deliver exceptional customer service
- Possess the adaptability and willingness to assist other employees to get the job done.
- Possess a basic mathematical aptitude.
- Must be motivated and self-driven with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently or within a team.
- Open to work a flexible hourly schedule, including holidays depending on business need.
- Lift and move boxes weighing up to 75lbs.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift experience, loading and unloading pallets in a warehouse setting.
**Online sales such as E-bay experience is a plus**
HOURS AND PAY:
- Full time, 40 hours a week, Day shift
- $17.50- $20.00 per hour DOE
