Job Description:
Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator based in Mendota Heights, MN,to assist and support the Logistics Manager in daily operation.

What You Will Do:

Foster clear communication with your team and internal contacts to address service related interests.

Develop close relationships with key vendors concerning contract terms, payments and service while complying with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Act as a subject matter expert and perform various logistics activities such as account management, database maintenance, replenishment and inventory forecasting, shortage resolution, distribution planning, delivery execution and exception management activities.

Manage quality, service and cost metrics. Regularly analyze and report on measured data while developing and implementing specific plans to achieve improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
2 years experience in a warehouse setting
6 months forklift operator experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Position Details:
Plant location: Mendota Heights, MN
Work week and shift: M - F, 1st shift
Compensation: Hourly, starting at $27 / hour

WMS experience

SAP experience

Shipping and receiving experience

Previous project management experience

Experience in hazardous materials shipping

Exposure to TPM and/or Lean Manufacturing principals

Strong written and verbal communication skills
