The Controller is responsible for working closely with the management team across multiple departments, as well as leading and developing the accounting staff. This role will be in charge of developing and improving controls, reporting, policies and procedures. You will be primarily responsible for the company's financials and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with accounting principles.     JOB DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Direct month-end and year-end close process.
    • Manage the preparation of periodic financial statements, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
    • Analyze financial results to identify opportunities and improvements that can be made.
    • Manage A/R, A/P, Fixed Asset Records, Costing, and Inventory accounting operations.
    • Coordinate the preparation and execution of the annual audit.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and provide advice on the financial implications of business activities.
    • Ensures internal controls are in place and being followed for proper accounting and safeguarding of the company’s assets.
    • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.


    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

    • CPA certification preferred

    • Public Accounting experience a plus

    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

    • Proven track record of implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
