WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Principal, Change Management (CM) to be part of a high performing team delivering new capabilities and value to the enterprise!

As part of the Finance Functional Strategy & Enablement (FS&E) Team, the Principal, CM will help prepare Nike and partner teams for large-scale changes through deliberate and thoughtful transition strategy and execution. Within your role, you will use your change management experience to develop and implement transition strategies and operational processes that emphasize collective readiness and effective, coordinated activation. As a leader, you will maintain the broader view of many simultaneous high-visibility and high-impact projects across a sub-section of the Finance organization.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll assess and develop strategies to inspire change management efforts across Finance sub-functions and workstreams to enable transition efforts. You will conduct comprehensive sub-functional impact assessments, drive engagement, evaluate organizational readiness, and conduct communication and learning and development planning in support of Finance Transformation. You will also develop and define user experience metrics and measurement strategies to evaluate change and adoption progress.

You will solicit feedback and listen to partners to evaluate the change landscape to generate user-centric and innovative approaches for enhancing change culture, and develop and deploy methods for ongoing measurement of change efficiency and impact. You will also serve as a liaison with other change teams at Nike, as appropriate.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This position will work in coordination with the FS&E team, Finance leaders and collaborators, and other key partners to maintain the broader view of many simultaneous high-visibility and high-impact projects across the Finance function.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, organizational efficiency, experience design or equivalent and 8+ years of program and change management experience in a corporate environment, with a focus on large-scale transformational change; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, skills and experiences.
  • Proven experience communicating plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, geography, and functional basis
  • Experience initiating and driving the ideation process contributing meaningful, innovative approaches to the business
  • Project Management experience in developing and implementing project workbacks, timelines and budgets
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to balance multiple time-bound projects while maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Ability to comprehend business needs, synthesize technical and specialized knowledge and translate them into a cohesive strategy
  • Tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work well with a large variety of personalities at all levels of business
