The Payroll Specialist will process exempt and nonexempt payroll associated
for all county employees monthly (or any other frequency.) Responsible for
all aspects of payroll processing functions, including time entry validation
and audits, validation of paycheck calculations; reconciliation for
integrity of data, and all payroll processes up to direct deposit advances.
Maintenance compliance with all federal, state, and local compliance
reporting, withholding remittance, and year-end reporting. Responsible for
remittance associated with benefit deductions, garnishments, child support
and any other payroll deductions. The Payroll Specialist position will
interface with all employees at all levels of the county and provide quality
customer service to all county employees.
$35.03 - $44.37 per hour plus benefits (see benefits tab on the job posting).
As an applicant for this position, you should be aware of Senate Bill

announce the pay range for job openings. This range encompasses the nine pay
steps available should you receive the position and demonstrate satisfactory
performance over time.
This position is nonexempt from the minimum wage and overtime requirements of
the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore eligible for overtime pay.
