Position Description

As a Management Consulting Director at RSM, you will work with businesses in diverse industries while managing staff to deliver projects on time, on budget and in line with client expectations. Working on numerous projects per year, you will not only work on delivering the projects and developing the staff, but also identify new opportunities to gain more work with each client. RSM's Management Consulting TMT (Technology, Media, Telecom) Advisory Group provides strategy and advisory assistance to improve the overall operational effectiveness of TMT organizations. Key service offerings include:

Customer and Channel Partner Strategy
Operational Effectiveness Assessments across key functions
Business process optimization
Business process unification
Managed services - Continuous performance improvement

Responsibilities

Lead the execution of projects to help optimize all elements of a TMT company including but not limited to: Sales Operations, Renewal Management, Customer Success, Services & Support, Finance
Expert understanding in SaaS company value creation and business operations including business process improvement, post-merger integration, end-to-end automation, technology architecture and strategy
Foundational understanding of corporate finance, accounting, management reporting, and business analysis
Subject matter expert in cross-functional business processes including: Lead to Quote, Quote to Order, Renewals, Order to Cash, Customer Success, Customer Journey, Services & Support
Strong at bringing together cross-functional teams, aligning around decisions and making recommendations to executive teams on business improvements
Drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
Regularly involved in internal and external business development activities and identifies new opportunities through various channels
Understand firm capabilities and ability to expand client service across lines of business
Manage engagement/project financials
Develop industry specialization and drive targeting, marketing, and training activities within industry
Build client relationships and deliver quality client services. Oversee and drive multiple concurrent projects to completion and assist our clients uncover additional areas of opportunity and manage the business development process.
Develop new products, solutions and deliverables for the rapidly changing TMT industry
Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive on-the-job coaching to team members, while fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree with concentration in Business and/or Corporate Finance
Technology, Media, Telecom industry experience either with a consulting firm or direct within industry in an operational role
Minimum 4 years' experience working in a large organization, professional services firm or CPA firm
2 yrs. experience leading and managing project teams from sales to project closure
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Executive presence and an understanding of stakeholder / client relationship management
Ability to travel > 50 % locally and internationally
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

Compensation Range: $157,100 - $334,700 |
