Administrative Assistant

The Opportunity

The Administrative Assistant in the SAFE Program is responsible for assisting the Director and Intake Coordinator with the daily operation of the program.


Responsibilities

  • Perform all general office duties such as ordering supplies, filing and retrieving documents, and composing and typing of correspondence and other documents.
  • Liaison with the police department regarding SAFE program and protocols. 
  • Open, sort, and log-in all fuel bills that come into SAFE; forward to fiscal department for payment.
  • Assist case managers and intake coordinator with SAFE data base and generating letters to clients and fuel company.
  • Send out client contribution requests and agency surveys.
  • Maintain and update information in SAFE Program's two databases; prepare and file monthly reports for the funder.
  • Assist the Director and Administrative Assistant with special projects when necessary.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an office setting 
  • Intermediate Computer skills with Microsoft Office including Word and Access; the ability to learn to adapt to program specific software required.

Additional Information

Schedule: Part Time, two days per week 9am-5pm

Location:  Garden City

Salary: $18.65/hr
