Group Product Manager, AlloyDB

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, consulting, co-founder or related technical role.
  • 5 years of experience building and shipping technical products.
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within databases, analytics, big data, or a related area.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in product management within cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
  • 7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience incorporating inclusion and accessibility into product development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of building accessibility best practices.

In this role, you will contribute to the strategy and evolution of AlloyDB, driving cutting edge innovations to enable our customers to realize maximum value from their data.

Responsibilities

  • Build a clear understanding of database technologies, market trends, and customer requirements to help shape the overall product strategy. 
  • Interact with customers and partners to understand their key requirements and help define a credible product roadmap.
  • Drive product development collaborating closely with engineering, user-experience design, finance, product operations, marketing, and field teams.     
  • Drive positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy for our launches.
  • Oversee validation of market size and opportunity (e.g., user-based, strategic opportunity, business).
