Job Description

 
Anticipated period of employment: 02/18/2025 to 10/31/2025 3 months verifiable experience required. Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest apples. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes,tampers, pruning hooks, shears and knives. Use and transport ladders. Till soil and apply fertilizers; transplant, weed, thin or prune crops; apply pesticides; clean, pack, and load harvested products; repair fences and farm buildings; clean and maintain lodge quarters; set up and operate irrigation equipment. Operate tractors and platforms to fertilize, plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Direct and monitor the activities of work crews engaged in planting, weeding or harvesting activities. Drive trucks or other multi-purpose vehicles to transport supplies, tools or farm workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday (including public roads to reach the work fields) ***See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description*** Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office.
