not able to sponsor visas. The R&D Electrical Engineer provides hands-on
technical assistance in all aspects of new product design, development,
testing, and documentation of industrial automation equipment. Job
Responsibilities & Essential Functions of the Job: Contribute to the
holistic design (including mechanical aspects) of industrial automation
equipment with an emphasis on electrical systems. Create and implement
electric component control programs to provide for the proper function
of PLC, HMI, motion, and message display. Draft electrical component
schematic designs, panel layouts and develop BOM\'s. Design and deploy
measurement systems to accurately gather relevant data (i.e. - load
cells, temperature sensors, vibration sensors, cameras, etc.) Assist in
data analysis to apply statistics, identify trends, establish
correlations, and draw conclusions. Document and communicate results in
a clear and concise manner for effective knowledge transfer. Occasional
Job Responsibilities: Maintain and upgrade departmental test equipment
including wiring. Assist with assembly of equipment. Object oriented
programming. Job Requirements: Education generally equivalent to a (4)
year Degree in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Science program or
related discipline or equivalent training and experience. 0-3 years of
engineering design experience with converting equipment. Strong oral and
written communication skills to effectively communicate with key
customers electrical design, converting equipment assembly and operating
issues. Ability to use hand tools, basic electronic measuring devices
and a laptop computer. Ability to use PLC and motion control computer
software (Logix 5000, Siemens TIA, Step 7, Bosch, Codesys) Ability to
use 3D and 2D CAD programs (Solid Edge, AutoCAD) Ability to use
Microsoft Office software (Excel, OneNote, Teams) Ability to use
statistical analysis programs (Minitab, PowerBI) Job Physical
Requirements: Ability to work a full day on a computer. Ability to lift
and move objects up to twenty-five pounds in weight. Ability to use hand
tools and monitoring/testing equipment. Ability to occasionally climb a
ladder and maneuver into tight spaces. Ability to work area in an
environment that is loud and without air conditioning during machine
commissioning and/or problem-solving. Ability to wear personal
protective equipment (safety shoes, glasses, ear protection). Must
travel for company business up to (\~20%) international and domestic
