Who we are?

Product System Engineering group within Intel Wireless Connectivity and Solutions group, developing cutting-edge SW networking products and technologies, we are seeking an experienced technical product manager and system architect.

The product manager/architect will play a central role in Intel’s networking SW initiatives. The candidate will define SW product solutions that will elevate UX as well as optimize the network usage for home users as well as for corporates and IT.

Main focus would be Intel Connectivity Performance Suite and Killer Wireless which are NW optimization SW for PCs.  

Role will include among others the following:

  • Drive the roadmap for ICPS and Killer aligned with Intel's strategy and other SW solutions. 
  • Collect, manage and define requirements specs for new features as well as legacy features per need.
  • Write SW specs for new features.
  • Promote new ideas for features to be introduced in the products, understanding and optimizing the value for user/IT in UX and performance and the product view
  • Working closely with different teams:
    • System, Arch, Dev, Val, Marketing, PM
    • Other system and development teams including WiFi, BT and other technologies per need
    • Platform team on integrations and innovations

Qualifications


  • BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience and strong knowledge of SW products architecture, with proven success in delivering products.
  • Experience in working from product requirements to the product high level design and detailed specs and work with the design teams on delivery.
  • Hands on technical skills in PC/mobile and cloud
  • Knowledge in networking and communication systems
  • Experience with design and development of WiFi communications systems will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of WIFi and BT protocols will be an advantage.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
