JOB REQUIREMENTS: Duties This is a non-bargaining unit position. The
initial application review cut-off for this job announcement is 300

Position Description Title/PD#: Procurement Analyst (Small Business

sedentary; however, intensive negotiation, lengthy and/or subsequent
meetings that require prolonged and sustained active participation, and
other special studies frequently require long periods without
opportunity for rest periods. Major Duties: Review small business
program and contract bundling packages ensuring that appropriate efforts
were made to maximize small businesses\' participation in the
acquisition. Provide procurement advice and assistance to contracting
officers and/or others on contract or small business procurement
policies, problems, or issues. Apply analytical and evaluative methods
and techniques to planning, conducting, and documenting a variety of
studies and reports, including findings, conclusions, recommendations
and follow-up. Serve as an advisor to contracting teams and acquisition
review boards. Assess businesses for their focus, capabilities, and
production capacities. Assist the acquisition team with market research,
which helps ensure the most comprehensive opportunities for small
