Summer Intern - Quality Control/Materials Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Quality Control/Materials Engineer Intern you will learn and complete quality assurance tasks for road construction projects. This includes testing materials, preparing mix designs, and reporting results. Coordinate and assist the department manager with their materials engineering needs. This position requires travel and stay at project locations through Northwestern Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota. Company Vehicle and travel assistance provided.
Minimum Qualifications:
A successful Quality Control/Materials Engineer Intern for Knife River will have: * A GED, high school diploma, or equivalent critical thinking skills * A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record * Actively pursuing a degree or certificate in Construction Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related field OR * Recently received a degree or certificate in Construction Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction, Project Management or related field
