Description:ATMP Soldier Systems Contact Team Member
This position is located at the Central Depot in Louisville, KY. This position provides technical over-and-above training support, technical assistance, and maintenance support for Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT) Family of Training Devices, Soldier Systems (SS) Aviation and Transportation (AT) Army Training Aids, Devices, and Simulators (TADSS), and Gunnery Maintenance Trainers (GMDT) family of devices, providing on demand device support across a broad spectrum of CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, aviation, and GMDT family of training devices. This position will require travel approximately 50% of the time.
Army TADSS Soldier Systems are designed to simulate live weapons, crew, convoy, vehicle, flight, and tactical training events that directly support individual and crew-served qualification, including individual gunnery and marksmanship, small unit collective, operating qualifications, and judgmental escalation-of-force exercises in a controlled environment.
The candidate shall receive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training on all CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT Full fidelity devices, and shall possess the abilities and technical expertise to perform the following tasks worldwide:
a) Extend training device operational, maintainability, and training capabilities by performing necessary upgrades, modifications, improvements, and retro-fits.
b) Provide recommendations to OPS-SS in the support and enhancement of maintenance procedures on all CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT training devices.
c) Conduct on site train-up for all newly hired field technicians.
d) Build, distribute, and implement training support packages for various CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT training devices for use in training field technicians worldwide.
e) Provide subject matter technical support for CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT devices and associated maintenance areas such as electrical, mechanical, hardware and software.
f) Provide platform specific refresher/remedial training on CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT simulation platforms/devices.
g) Provide expertise to assist with engineering development and applications.
h) Assist with and provide technical support for multi-platform software integration and support, along with verification/validation capabilities.
i) Provide and assist with site surveys and aid in the creation of drawings and technical support packages for new construction projects to include pad construction and site layouts for CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT training platforms/devices.
j) Provide domain expert labor and expertise for pad constructions for new simulation sites, buildings, and locations by performing various tasks such as room and building validations and inspections, trenching, grounding grid installation, electrical service installation, voltage and phasing verification, bearing plate and tie down installation, and general construction oversight and assistance.
k) Provide technical expertise and recommendations to logistics teams on material handling equipment (MHE) requirements to support movement or relocation of CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT training platforms/devices.
l) Develop upon request documentation that will support de-installation, installation and relocation of all CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT.
m) Perform, conduct, and lead device and site relocations to include but not limited to the testing, inventory, packing, shipping, receiving, set-up, and bringing training devices and full sites to fully mission capable status.
n) Provide/Conduct emergency training, surge and maintenance support.
o) Provide hardware/software technical support for all CCTT, SS/AT/TADSS, and GMDT devices worldwide.
p) Single source / domain expertise to support / execute training device pack
US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
• Position is in Louisville, KY but will be required to travel for on-site maintenance, repair, and mission support approximately 50% of the time to locations both within the continental United States (frequented locations include any of the 48 states) and outside of the continental United States (frequented locations include but are not limited to: Germany, South Korea, Alaska, Hawaii). A portion of this travel is required monthly and quarterly to the following states: Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Georgia.
• Customer relations experience
• Ability to obtain a Common Access Card
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
This requires US Citizenship.
• Microsoft Office tool suite acumen
• Ability to travel internationally
• Industry related associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience
Desired Skills:
• Experience working with the US Army customer
• Proficient reading schematics, block diagrams, tech manuals, functional charts
• Proficient with troubleshooting and repairing complex computer, network systems, and electronics
• Experience with board level repair of complex electronic equipment and components
• Team oriented
• Strong social skills
• Experience with Soldier Systems/Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations
Must have an industry related associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
