| Job Description: |
Braun Intertec is seeking a Project Manager experienced in transportation civil engineering projects to join our Bloomington or White Bear Lake, Minnesota office. <br>
<br>
<b>Responsibilities:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Manages routine to moderately complex transportation projects by providing expertise required to meet/exceed client expectations</li>
<li>Perform project management work including cost estimate and proposal preparation, internal project set-up following Braun Intertec policies, external project set-up following MnDOT requirements, contract processing, review of observation and test data for conformance with project documents, and prepare final summary reports.</li>
<li>Work with operations to coordinate field staff on projects</li>
<li>Perform various field testing and observations.</li>
<li>Stay current with changing federal and state-aid agency standards and specifications.</li>
<li>As needed, assist field operations with technician training and review</li>
<li>Work closely with senior level engineers and project managers to ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded.</li>
<li>Hold face to face meetings with new and existing clients</li></ul>

<b>Required Skills:</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets</li>
<li>Computer aptitude and familiarity with Braun Intertec utilized systems including Metafield, Microsoft Dynamix AX, and Microsoft Office programs.</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis</li>
<li>A valid driver's license and a clean driving history required</li>
<li>Well versed in MnDOT specifications</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications</li>
<li>Be able to multi-task and specifically handle many projects simultaneously</li>
<li>Detailed oriented</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of transportation agency policies and specifications</li></ul>

<br>
<b>Required Experience</b>
<br>
<ul>
<li>Three or more (3+) years of relevant experience required</li>
<li>Hold certifications in, or have the ability to obtain, the following certifications: ACI level I, MnDOT Grading and Base, MnDOT Aggregate Production, MnDOT Concrete Plant I, MnDOT Bituminous Plant I, Nuclear Moisture/Density Gauge Radiation Safety training.</li>
<li>High School Diploma with post-secondary diploma in related in field or relevant project experience.</li></ul>
