Job Description

 
Drivers job duties include: Pre trip and post trip vehicles per DOT standards. Following instuctions on daily routes. Visiting customers on the daily route and removing the product via a vacuum pumpimg system or hydraulic dumpimg . Obeying all laws, and rules of the road. Properly using a electronic tablet to document pick ups, as well as aother papaerwork needed to complete daily route, Working in the yard transfering daily loads to tankers for transport. Class A drivers will at times do a daily trailer transfer to Western Mass No overnights.. Daily hosekeeping duties with equiptment used that day , fueling up trucks. The Syracuse branch of Baker Commodities is managed using the Team concept, where all employees are equally respondsible to do their complete share of the work. We currently work 4, 10 hour days, and overtime on the fifth. Your schedule may be Tues to Friday, or Monday to Thursday. The day is ended when all the work is done. We are Teamsters Union. This is a drug free enviroment with regular random testing. Uniforms supplied, great benifiets, Union security, Boot allowance. great work place enviroment. Inner company advancement.
