Position Highlights

- Work hours: Full-Time, 36 hours weekly, call required after appropriate training period
THS Certified Surgical Tech’s will assist in 4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room. Services provided include Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, and General Surgery.
Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville (THS) is a full-service, 98-bed hospital serving Erath and surrounding counties since 1926. The hospital offers surgical services, women’s and infants’ services, advanced diagnostic imaging, sleep lab and a wound care program. Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Req Or
Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Req
Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Pref
Experience
1 Year current operating room experience Pref
Licenses and Certifications
CST – Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req Or
CST – Certified Surgical Technologist and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req Or
CST – Certified Surgical Technologist graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years Req Or
LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req And
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
