Technical IDC Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Create a programmatic framework for developing telemetry solutions for various hardware use cases like RAS, performance benchmarking, and power profiling.
  • Drive telemetry solutions across identified products and use-cases.
  • Create programs to improve for hardware life expectancy across compute, storage and networking solutions at component, platform, system and cluster levels.
  • Support cross-functional infrastructure projects in a matrix organization covering a range of areas such as Hardware Systems, Operations Engineering, Production Release Engineering, Datacenter, Infrastructure Software Engineering, Vendors.
  • Responsible for requirements elicitation for solutions to new problem sets.
  • Identify improvements to components across hardware/firmware/software.
  • Champion strategy definition, planning, execution, risk management and communication on programs.
  • Engage in product management in collaboration with Engineering owners to define product roadmaps.
  • Bootstrap new organization wide initiatives and programs.
  • Influence partners and build consensus to drive execution.
  • Provide handson program management with internal teams and vendors.
  • Prioritize and report differences in running hardware/systems programs in a social experiences company.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Up to 2% international travel required.
  • Up to 5% domestic travel required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Project Management, Computer or Information Technology, or a related field. Foreign equivalent accepted.
  • 36 months of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in related occupation is required.
  • Requires 36 months of post-baccalaureate experience involving the following:
  • 1. Technical program management
  • 2. Hands-on product management
  • 3. Communication with stakeholders and engineers
  • 4. Adapting new technology and participating in design discussions
  • 5. Participating in product design discussions
  • 6. Collaboration with cross-functional groups like engineers
  • 7. End-to-end coordination
  • 8. Data Center Operations expertise
  • 9. Delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery and
  • 10. Risk management and mitigation strategies.

$203,505/year to $213,400/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
