Job Description

Position Summary: The EH&S Manager will be responsible for overall safety assurance for the project site(s) they are allocated to. Daily responsibilities include:



* Running daily or regular safety meetings and orientations

* Perform routine safety inspections of jobsite

* Tracking of project safety metrics using internal client tools

* Investigation of safety related incidents on jobsites

* Participation in site safety committee activities

Required Skills & Experience

Must haves:

* 5+ years of experience minimum within construction site safety management/assurance

* Associates or Bachelor's degree preferably in Environmental Health and Safety, Construction Management, or something similar

o Combination of applicable construction safety certifications and working experience will suffice in lieu of a degree

* Experience supporting commercial construction projects

* Familiarity with site excavation and/or steel erection projects

* OSHA 500 certification

* Comfortability with travel to and from sites

* Integrity, reliability, willingness to learn and positive attitude

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:

* Bilingual -- MAJOR PLUS but can flex here if necessary
