The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking a visionary Health Care Facilities Executive Director to provide leadership and comprehensive management for a system of seven (7) state-run health care facilities servicing complex patient populations. This pivotal role involves overseeing programs and services, strategic planning, financial stewardship, human resources management, physical plant and information system operations, regulatory compliance, quality enhancement, and risk management. One of the Executive Director’s primary responsibilities will be supporting the recruitment and retention of key clinical positions at DPHHS facilities and collaborating with facility leadership to reduce contract staffing expenditures.
Alongside facility leadership the Executive Director will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements from agencies such as CMS, CDC, OSHA, and compliance with the Montana Code Annotated (MCA), the Administrative Rules of Montana (ARM), and any applicable accreditation standards. This role is critical in guiding senior leadership and executive teams across all seven (7) facilities, championing the highest standards in patient care, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Salary will be commensurate with experience of the most qualified candidate.
