    Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Fund Accountant at a Leading Global Investment Firm. This is a full-time permanent role based in San Francisco with a Hybrid schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare both audited and unaudited financial statements with required disclosures
    • Calculate investor-level allocations, distributions, capital calls, and fund performance
    • Review portfolio activity and expenses, ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation
    • Support investor reporting and coordinate with fund administrators and investor relations
    • Respond to internal and external inquiries (auditors, legal, ops, IR, etc.)
    • Review valuation models for private investments alongside investment teams and third-party specialists
    • Drive innovation by contributing to long-term upgrades of accounting systems and processes

    • 2+ years in asset management, ideally via:
    • Public accounting (Big 4 or equivalent) with alternative investments focus
    • In-house experience at a hedge fund, private equity, or VC firm
    • CPA preferred; strong academic background
    • Familiarity with tools like Advent Geneva is a plus
    • A self-starter mindset and the ability to work across global teams
    • Eagerness to grow in a high-performance environment that values knowledge-sharing and cross-training
