We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team. You will contribute to several functional areas of responsibility to drive quality products from concept to market. You will lead definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifecycle. About You - education, experience, skills, and accomplishments
Bachelor's degree preferably in psychology, education, or other social sciences,
5 years of experience working as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or another relevant title
5 years of experience working with clients
5 years of experience working with library database products, or other relevant domains

Experience using data to drive simple decisions and establishing relevant metrics
Basic understanding of financial modeling and ROI
Possesses strong operational and technical instincts
Has A working understanding of business drivers and key issues
Ability to collaborate across teams to manage product development

Must possess the ability to gain domain knowledge in position
MLIS or MBA
What will you be doing in this role?
Product Requirements - With guidance and support, documents clear and measurable product requirements and makes trade-off recommendations between implementation and functionality.
Product Delivery - With guidance and support, manages the development and launch of new features and functionality through the entire product development lifecycle process from concept through implementation and release. (For full product, or significant product features)
Customer Research - Participates in leading focus groups, customer surveys, and user testing to inform product priorities. Monitors key product analytics to inform development priorities. Leads and manages customer advisory boards, including scheduling, planning, and facilitating monthly meetings
Product Roadmap - Under direction, understands market priorities and works with Engineering to identify trade-offs. Drives activities/user stories to deliver product to market, according to product roadmap. Prioritizes and sequences product features and stories to meet market demands
Product Strategy - Internalizes product strategy such that it informs market requirements and feature prioritization
Business Plan/Product Profitability - Supports construction and justification of business plan/case; contributes to plan approval. Contributes to content plan / budget
Programmatic Growth - Monitors and makes recommendations for improvement of product performance including pricing, bundling, and marketing strategy. Provides feedback as necessary into features/functions being developed
Product Launch - With direction and support, develops full launch package including pricing and product bundling options; targeted segments; competitive analysis; and provides feedback as necessary into features/functions built
About the Team
You will be working with an established product team that collaborates internally with platform managers, UX designers, developers, content and editorial teams, content licensing managers, sales and marketing colleagues, and externally with library customers and end users to ensure that our database products meet customer learning and research needs. We are committed to professional development with a significant focus on learning.

Full time, permanent
Although duties are typically performed during normal business hours, occasional off-hours may be required
