In keeping with its Mennonite heritage and philosophy, Menno Benevolent Association, Inc., (MBA) is committed to maintain a Christian emphasis in all its endeavors. Its is the purpose of MBA to operate a socially and economically sound community which provides affordable decent homes to residents. It is the policy of the MBA and the responsibility of the administrative staff to receive applications, determine eligibility, select residents for continued occupancy, and provide facilities and services to eligible persons according to standards set forth. Friendship Haven Retirement Community is a 100 unit, not-for-profit apartment complex located at 2600 West Jefferson Street in Kokomo, Indiana. Made possible through the efforts of are Mennonite Churches, a montage and subsidy from HUD. Applicants must be 62 or older, or needing the specially designed features of altered units. Friendship Haven features unfurnished one and two-bedroom apartments and ten specially designed apartments.
