A. Responsible for the administration, safe operation, custody and maintenance of the Vehicle Storage Lots and Personal Storage Facility and associated equipment. Manages operating expenses and cash flow from the operation. Submits annual budget estimates and justification for expenditures.
B. Maintains records pertaining to items requested for purchased, costs, delivery schedules and inventories and facility usage; maintains close liaison with the MWR Director and Regional Accounting Office regarding purchase order transactions, outstanding requisitions, inventory adjustments, cost of goods, etc.
C. Provides world-class customer service and handles patron inquiries in a positive and friendly manner. Checks for satisfaction on the quality of goods and services. Asks appropriate questions to determine, verify and solve problems. Takes appropriate action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher level supervisor or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
E. Evaluates on a continuing basis the overall program and submit recommendations to the MWR Director for changes to the program, hours of operations, and processes. Recommends fees according to published instructions. Ensures proactive promotion of facilities.
F. Prepares all safety and accident, injury and/or illness reports for submission. To ensure patron safety, will inspect facilities on a routine basis prior to patron usage. Is responsible for overall cleanliness of facilities. Complies with OSHA standards and takes action to correct unsafe or unhealthy working conditions.
G. Supervises, interviews, selects and trains one or more flex NF-1 Recreation Aids in all areas of employment and safety. Schedules and evaluate staff work performance, approves and disapproves leave, and disciplines. Carries out EEO policies and communicates support of these policies to subordinates. Cooperates and participates fully in the development of an EEO affirmative action plan and its effects regarding staffing, motivation, and training to develop all employees.
H. Performs other related duties as assigned.
