Quality Engineer

Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our Colorado Springs, CO, team and help us create unique solutions for complex problems.

As an intricate member of the team, you will perform engineering functions for the project team involved with design and development of hypersonic manufacturing systems, including component inspection, CMM programming, and blue light scanning.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree with 3 years of experience performing in a quality role in a manufacturing environment OR High School diploma with 5 years of experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints for part components
• Experience in the following areas are a must:
  • Manual inspection equipment
  • Running a CMM
  • Performing First Article Inspections
  • Data analysis
  • Non conformance reporting and documentation
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint
  • Corrective and preventive actions
• Candidate must be a resident of the Colorado Springs, CO area

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma certification
• GD&T knowledge
