Lancaster, NY. Sealing Devices, Inc. Quality Control Inspector. FT. Benefits. $18.00-$19.00/Hour. What you will do: Follow all company policies, procedures, and work instructions in the completion of daily activities with minimal input and supervision to ensure successful accomplishment of company objectives. Perform receiving inspections to verify that incoming parts and materials meet requirements and are suitable for use including part dimensional verification. Perform inspections of tools and templates used for production and inspection. Document Supplier Information Request (SIR) for material documentation. Record statistical data as defined by routing instructions and customer requirements. Complete Oracle transaction NCR product issues (dimensional). Address product quality and service issues through interdepartmental communication. Provide other departments with information and assistance to support them in accomplishing their objectives. Contribute to and participate in improvement activities within the department and the company. Perform audits of Dock to Stock suppliers to verify continuing compliance with requirements. Responsible to follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written. Any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the Quality department. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.
