    Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Analyst to manage, optimize, and support critical business applications while serving as a strategic link between technical teams and business stakeholders. This hybrid role combines application administration with business process analysis to drive system efficiency, improve user experience, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.


    Responsibilities:

    Application Administration:

    • Administer, configure, and maintain enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other business-critical systems)
    • Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with security and compliance policies
    • Monitor application performance and coordinate updates, patches, and upgrades with internal IT or external vendors
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for application issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating resolution efforts
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures

    Business Analysis & Process Improvement:

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications
    • Conduct gap analyses to assess current system capabilities versus business needs
    • Recommend enhancements, system modifications, or process improvements to optimize operational workflows
    • Participate in the planning, testing, and implementation of system updates, new features, or new application rollouts

    Reporting & User Enablement:

    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL-based tools) to support business intelligence efforts
    • Provide training and support to end users to ensure effective adoption and use of enterprise applications
    • Promote best practices for system usage and data integrity across departments

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of experience in application administration, business analysis, or a related role supporting enterprise-level systems
    • Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, configuration, security, and lifecycle management
    • Experience with databases and reporting tools would be strongly desired
    • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field

    Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with major enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)
    • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project delivery
    • Experience with business process modeling or improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
    • Technical or professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, ITIL, Microsoft Certified, or application-specific administrator certifications)
