Overview

- Manage and coordinate project(s) or program(s) inventory.
- Hands-on job. Inspect, receive, place, pull and ship.
- Arrange and organize inventory for minimal movement.
- Track inventory movement between intermediate and final locations to include warehouse, testing, manufacturing, and customer acceptance.
- Track inventory moves within a warehouse location (aisles, pallet positions, position on pallet).
- Track inventory that becomes part of a larger assembly.
- Take cycle counts, full counts, track ins/out between intermediary locations to destination.
- Track customer owned equipment inventory.
- Report monthly by project and program.
- Investigates or reports reasons for discrepancies.
- Travel to customer project sites and ensure inventory tracking until customer acceptance.
- Reviews inventories taken by other workers and compares them with office records, or computes figures from sales, equipment, shipping, production, purchase, or stock records to obtain current theoretical inventory.
- Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count.
- Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists employees in solving work problems.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience with a High School Diploma / GED

- Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
- Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
- Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
- Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
- Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
- Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
- Identify and understand the speech of another person.
