    The Director of Logistics will lead and optimize logistics operations while overseeing end-to-end project management, team leadership, and client relationship management. This position will focus on driving efficiency, improving processes, and contributing to revenue growth and cost reduction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3PL, distribution, fulfillment, and supply chain management, with proven expertise in carrier relations, routing, and procurement.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership by mentoring and motivating team members to achieve project goals and meet key milestones.
    • Oversee daily workload distribution, ensuring appropriate coverage and prioritization of tasks.
    • Demonstrate financial acumen by creating and presenting reports on project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and margin optimization.
    • Oversee vendor and carrier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of goods.
    • Ensure accurate fulfillment and distribution, oversee inventory process, including daily analysis, inbound and outbound management, and discrepancy resolution.
    • Own the full project lifecycle, including onboarding, planning, execution, and completion of multiple simultaneous projects.
    • Manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables while proactively addressing scope changes and risks.
    • Lead internal and external project meetings, providing clear updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
    • Create and maintain project documentation, including processes, procedures, and reporting.
    • Identify and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize performance.
    • Act as a key liaison with executive leadership, providing regular updates on department performance and strategic initiatives.
    • Foster collaboration across departments to align logistics operations with overall business objectives.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field preferred.
    • 6+ years of experience in logistics project management, 3PL, distribution, fulfillment, and supply chain operations.
    • Proven experience leading and managing 5+ direct reports in a logistics or supply chain environment.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant business applications.
    • Knowledge of TMS, WMS, and other logistics-related systems.
    • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Expertise in carrier relations, routing strategies, and vendor management.
    • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.

    Salary & Benefits:

    • Salary range for this position is $85-95K

In this role, you'll be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively managing internal and external communications.
