Anticipated period of employment: 05/04/2024 - 09/05/2024 Perform general farm labor including the following tasks: (i) manually harvesting and sorting of organic blueberries;(ii) ensuring packaged products are labeled and placed neatly within designated climate-controlled facilities; and(iii) ensuring personal sanitation standards are met. The Organic Blueberry Harvesters will also assist with quality control oversight on key farm operations, including: (i) seed handling and cutting; (ii) irrigation system maintenance,;(iii) uniformity monitoring; (iv) bruise-free handling during harvest; and (v) storage management and maintenance of equipment. GAP trains all workers in Good Handling Practices / Good Agricultural Practices (GHP/GAP) to ensure the organic integrity of its premium organic blueberries. ***See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description.*** Interested candidates should contact their local State Workforce Office to receive a copy of the ETA790 and applicable attachments.
