The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains cleanliness of city facilities.
- Conducts preventative maintenance of structures and equipment; performs minor repairs to fixtures as directed.
- Assists with ordering, maintaining, and distributing supplies.
- Repairs or replaces appliances and equipment.
- Paints prepared surfaces.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience (An equivalent combination of education, training & experience will be considered):
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of related experience.
Licenses or Certifications
- Depending on assignment, may require Pesticide Applicator Certification or other relevant certification.

- Standard practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of building trades.

DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
- Positions assigned to the airport are required to successfully pass an annual Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background check.

- No supervisory authority. Work may require providing guidance and training to others.
