Job Description:
Position Purpose
As a key member of the Human Resources (HR) team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world. The Senior HR Operations Specialist serves as the primary resource for HR technology, reporting, workforce analytics, job evaluations, and compensation functions. Serves as support for other HR programs including talent acquisition, compliance, and HR projects.
Duties include:
Serves as administrator, design/configuration specialist, technical point of contact, and subject matter expert for HR technology and software systems.
Develops reports, analyses, and presents to management on all facets of workforce analytics.
Leads the administration, functionality, and training of the performance management and compensation cycle in HR software and technology systems.
Conducts job evaluations, including consulting with external vendors and using internal and external salary and market data, to determine the appropriate job grade, title, FLSA status, and compensation package, ensuring consistency across the Bank.
Serves as a subject matter expert and advisor in the application of compensation policies and procedures. Communicates compensation data to the HR team, managers, and employees and makes recommendations based on analysis and business needs.
Performs analysis related to salary structures and pay equity based on market trends, internal equity, compression, and qualitative data. Analyzes cost and budget implications, makes recommendations, and develops implementation strategies.
Manages the annual merit and bonus planning process to include timelines, communications, budgeting, and system configuration.
Maintains a thorough understanding of and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing compensation practices.
Supports the HR team in the talent acquisition process including creating job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and collaborating with hiring managers on the selection and offer process.
Supports the HR team in implementing human resources initiatives aligned with business needs and the Bank's human resources strategy.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, technology, or a related field
4-6 years of related experience
Experience in HR information systems and analytics
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
