The Opportunity

This role reports to the Manager, US Warehouse Operations and is role is responsible to ensure safe day-to-day warehouse operations and duties related to shipping, receiving, inspections, storage and physical disposal of a variety of materials, equipment and supplies including high-dollar, heavy, or hazardous materials in support of the Business. The role will interface with the Materials Management, Logistics and Warehouse Team, Equipment Repair Services, Operations, Pipeline Maintenance and Project Management, in order to optimize order fulfillment and materials management processes.

This position spends extended periods sitting or standing and bending. Occasional heavy lifting may also be required.

What you'll do

Comply with all Company procedures and controls, including but not limited to safety, health, confidentiality, and environmental policies

Receipt, storage and issuance of a variety of inventory, equipment and supplies in accordance with Policies & Procedures

Interact with Inventory Analysts, Asset Recovery coordinator, Equipment Repair Services Manager, Turbomachinery Fleet Specialists, Buyer(s), Field Technician(s), FieldWork Planner(s), Master Data Team, Material Coordinators and all other internal and external stakeholders as applicable

Deliver against all Safety, Service Delivery, Cost and Quality performance targets

Perform SAP transactions to ensure timely completion of goods receipts, material issues, stock transfers, cycle counts to ensure data integrity

Load and unload materials in warehouses and storage facilities using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies)

Resolve problems utilizing knowledge of shipping/receiving/stock operations

Implement inventory procedures controls, performance indicators in requisition and storage of all inventory in the warehouse

Conduct and oversee cycle counts and variance research

Verify accuracy of catalogue/SAP numbers, descriptions, quantities, units, and location and resolve and/or communicate differences

Collaborate with other SC functions, Operations and Maintenance groups to effectively manage and optimize order fulfillment rate

Receive materials into the warehouse and verify materials against purchase orders/receiving reports to ensure the accuracy of the delivery with quality, count, part number, etc. and complete paperwork required for documentation

Count, weigh, or measure incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and any variances against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders or other records.

Prepare materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping and prepare necessary shipping documents

Fill reservations/orders and issue materials per requests and document transactions appropriately

Prepare materials for shipping and determine method of shipment utilizing Company's third-party logistics providers

Resolve issues of quality, count, part number, etc. with incoming shipments and escalate those that are not resolved

Plan, improve and perform warehouse safety and security programs and activities on a regular basis, including the inspection and care of racking, small tools, slings, hoists etc.

Monitor and maintain physical condition and security of warehouse

Drive company vehicle and maintain any/all licenses in good standing as required

Operate material handling equipment

Report on warehouse key KPI's (Safety, Delivery, Cost, Quality) and warehouse productivity reports as required

New hire onboarding and technical training, coaching / mentoring

Prepare work schedules of all warehouse staff in order to support after-hours calls 24/7

Lead operational excellence/continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse

Monitor and advise on the performance of warehouse staff, suppliers and freight providers as required.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma is required

Eight (8) years experience in Warehouse Management specifically relating to receiving / issuing / storage of materials

Extensive knowledge of warehouse management principles

Knowledge of materials management, inventory and logistics

Proven ability to coach and lead an indirect team

High focus on safety and service

Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to detect inconsistencies in data

Proven resource scheduling and planning skills

SC process and systems SAP WM and MM experience

Extensive experience operating Forklift & Overhead Crane

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a Transport Management System (TMS)

Designation or enrollment in a Supply Chain or Logistics certification program (e.g. CPIM)

Experience in relevant SAP/ARIBA modules.
