Position Summary | The National Cancer Institute (NCI)’s Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) is a national effort to accelerate the understanding of the molecular basis of cancer through the application of large-scale proteome and genome analysis, or proteogenomics. As a consortium member, the Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) Office of Sponsored Research & Administration (OSRA)/ Office of Translational Technologies (OTT) is seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist & Laboratory Technician. This position will play an essential role in blood sample collection, as well as preparation and processing of tumor tissue collected in the operating room, with the assistance of a pathologist. |

Pre-Employment/Employment Requirements

Immunization Requirements | It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination. |
