Required Qualifications

HS/GED. Minimum of four (4) years of experience working as an instrumentation technician in an industrial environment (i.e., paper, refining, chemical, or power industries); or equivalent combination of accepted education, training and experience. Possession of a valid drivers license and a safe driving record. Experience with SCADA and PLC systems, including programming experience. Knowledge in MS Suite applications and computer program applications appropriate to the position. Knowledge of OSHA and other workplace safety programs.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree/certificate from an instrumentation training program/technical school. Completion of study in electrical, mechanical, SCADA control systems, or other associated trade. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience operating and programming SCADA equipment at a water treatment and/or wastewater treatment plant. Supervisory experience in a similar environment. Knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures and tracking. Process control knowledge of water/sewer pumping operations. Possession of a valid Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and safe driving record. Bilingual in English/Spanish.
