JOB REQUIREMENTS: Located at the Brown County Community Treatment
Center, near UWGB Brown County is looking to hire LPNs to assist clients
and residents with activities of daily living, provide nursing care,
active treatment and be part of maintaining a therapeutic environment.

facility with 3 separate units. Bayshore Village is a 63-bed nursing
home, all with private rooms and bathrooms/showers. Bay Haven is a 15
bed CBRF, also all with single rooms. Nicolet is a 16-bed, inpatient
psychiatric hospital that provides care to those in a situational or
mental crisis. We are also proud to have an overall 5-star facility

rating! Sign-on Bonus available up to \$4000 total for eligible
positions (paid after completing 6-months and 1-year of employment) This
position offers a competitive starting wage of \$25.32 per hour and up
to \$29.27 per hour for some part time positions, not including a \$2.00
and \$3.00 shift differential for PM and Night shifts. For eligible

Night shift differential- \$3.00 per hour Responsible for providing
nursing care to clients on assigned area. Supervises/directs subordinate
nursing personnel - e.g. nursing assistants per RN directive.
Responsible for assisting the RN in a variety of client care activities.
Completes delegated work-related tasks as assigned by the RN. Essential
Duties Administers and documents medications and treatments on the
electronic MAR as prescribed by physicians and according to established
nursing policy/procedure. Makes rounds with physician and completes
order entry in Avatar under supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Maintains current information on new medications, dosages and side
effects. Provides medication teaching with client/family as indicated in
client care plan and as directed by the Registered Nurse. Provides
nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of
the client. Participates in the development of client care plans.
Implements provisions of client care plan. Observes and documents change
in client behavior/condition and inform RN accordingly. Participates in
emergency or crisis situations as directed by the Registered Nurse.
Assists with admissions, discharges and transfer of clients. Maintains
records, reports and documentation in accordance with departmental
standards. Maintains a clean, comfortable and safe environment for
clients. Assists in creating a therapeutic atmosphere on the client
unit. Maintains effective working relationships with other employees.
Attends and participates in staff meetings, mandatory in-services and
other educational programs. Perform related functions as assigned.

& Abilities Knowledge and understanding of the terminology, techniques
and practices of Practical Nursing. Knowledge of basic needs of the
geriatric elderly, developmentally disabled, mentally ill, AODA client
and child/adolescent clients. Knowledge of basic pharmacology and
specifically psychopharmacology (expected actions, side effects,
contraindications, and route of administration, specifically types of
injectables). Knowledge of principles of documentation. Knowledge of
basic principles of behavior modification and appropriate application of
behavior modification techniques. Ability to complete basic Medicare
evaluations following completion of proper training and return
demonstration of competency. Ability to recognize and address the
physical, psycho-social, mental and emotional needs of the client.
Ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients
and their family members. Ability to carry out a nursing care plan as
directed by the Registered Nurse. Ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to enter physician orders into the electronic record system
under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. Ability to use all
standard medical equipment. Ability to perform in emergency situations
