Position Summary

The Senior Sales PM will serve as the primary point of contact for Customer-facing communication and schedule management for strategic projects. The Senior Sales PM will work closely with the Directors of Corporate Project Management, Sales and Installation teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of Customer professional services projects in adherence to Terms and Conditions of the project. The Senior Sales PM will partner closely with the Corporate Project Managers, aligned with Strategic Accounts, to provide a seamless Customer experience and concierge-level service to our most strategic Customers. The Senior Sales PM will be the internal coordinator of all STERIS departments to effectively manage and deliver projects with highest Customer satisfaction.

Duties


Senior Sales PM owns project management and implementation process for STERIS strategic Customer projects
Manages the project schedule including delivery and installation schedules
Communicates all field-based project schedule needs to project team
Works with Installation Project Managers and General Contractors to understand Customer requirements
Attends owner-furnished equipment (OFE) meetings, documenting meeting discussion; capture and communicate assignments to STERIS team
Execute the implementation of managed projects including identification of STERIS and Customer responsibility and deliverables as defined in the sales contract, coordination of STERIS and contract resources in the execution of STERIS responsibilities
Influencer and central point of contact for sales order review, project planning and documentation, resource coordination and issue resolution
Scheduled tracking and communication of implementation progress, tracing of equipment delivery, installation, in-servicing and assignment of project deliverables with owners and timing for completion
Maintain accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting
Identify and resolve issues which might affect Customer satisfaction and STERIS operational targets

Main point of contact for escalations and resulting resolution
Coordinates consumables needed for startup and in-servicing dates with Account Management team
Accountable for driving Customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the installation process and is the liaison between STERIS and the Customer
Defines and maintains project management standards
Independently executes high complexity projects
Consults with senior/executive leadership and assigned teams to ensure project alignment with the business unit's strategy and objectives
Oversee planning, directing and coordinating multiple projects varying in size and scope; recommend revisions in project plans to meet changing needs and requirements
Participates in Kaizen events when appropriate and supports assigned action items
Oversees key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct root cause counter measure analysis, manage improvement initiatives, facilitate corrective action

Education Degree

Required Experience


Four Year Degree is required; with advanced degree preferred
10+ years of business experience
5+ years of experience of successful management of major business projects and programs from concept to implementation
Experience leading cross-functional teams (preferred)
PMP Certification (preferred)
