Job Description

Job requires operating self-propelled equipment such as trucks or tractors with trailers attached in the process of harvesting crops. Equipment will be operated to support harvesting machines. Job requires retrieving parts for harvest equipment as needed; keeping accurate record of loads hauled daily; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; performing mechanical repair and maintenance and using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain harvest equipment and cutters, harvesting trucks, trucks, and tractors with trailers; and regularly servicing equipment. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer. 

Housing is provided.  Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence is also offered.  Transportation will be provided at no cost to workers, from employer-provided housing and, if applicable, centralized pick-up points to the places of employment at the beginning of each workday and back at the end of each work day.
