As an Electrical Compliance Qualifier you will be a vital member of the engineering team in the Electrification Services in consulting on technical solutions, approving assignments, and overseeing timely completion to high standards.
The Electrical Compliance Qualifier supports our service teams working with customers to ensure our products and systems provide maximum performance, as well as solve a wide variety of key industrial challenges. We increase productivity and reliability, lengthen product life span, and improve safety. Critically, we also reduce costs, energy consumption and emissions.

Technical Consulting Manager IIYour responsibilities
Be a license Qualifier for the Company, obtaining contractor's licenses for the Company in multiple states as required by Management and the Qualifier team, driving efforts to prepare, test, and obtain the relevant documentation
Conduct scheduled site visits to assess compliance and safety measures at job sites
Contribute to business support by thoroughly researching the State Electrical Contractor license requirements and exemptions, enabling the Company to establish effective business processes and plans that ensure compliance
Capable of collaborating and effectively communicating with various business areas, displaying a consistent and professional demeanor throughout interactions
Provides timely review of field work job plans and execution strategies and provides input as necessary
Attends proposal review meetings to help assess and mitigate risks and provide input for successful execution plans
Help build business strategies to ensure Field Service resources meet regulatory requirements to perform field electrical work, and that supports field personnel understanding all requirements
Prepares or provides input for proposals/contracts and makes recommendations on such matters as labor estimates, field equipment requirements, specifications, procedures, and technical documents
Capable of executing instructions provided by senior members of the Electrical Compliance Qualifier Team and management accurately and efficiently
Collaborate closely with the Electrical Compliance Qualifier Team to create and implement procedures and processes that guarantee the company's various business areas are compliant
Must be available outside normal business hours to review urgent or emergency field service job requirements
Be available to travel up to 50%Your background
Statewide Electrical Contractor license or Master Electrician license(s) in MI with the ability to obtain MO, IL, IN, OH ,KY, and VA within 6 months
Possess effective communication and negotiation skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to deliver presentations to large and small groups
Experience with Salesforce and /or SAP
Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneNote
Ability to grow and expand within the role and obtain additional jurisdictional licenses
