Journeyperson Industrial Painters. $43.81/Hour. Glaziers work with one of the most versatile materials of all glass. Your commercial expertise will include installing and replacing glass storefronts; creating metal framework; installing glass panels or curtain walls and installing interior room dividers and security windows.. No experience? No problem! Our apprenticeship program offers you the chance to 'learn while you learn' through training classes and employment with glazing contractors. As a glazing apprentice, you'll learn how to select, safely handle, cut, install and replace all types of glass. After completing your training, you'll be an expert in working with glass, from cutting shelving for an intricate retail display to installing energy saving curtain walls on a skyline-altering high-rise.
