Job Summary:  Our agency is actively seeking a Director for our Operations Division, a role that is critical to both the strategic and day-to-day management of our transportation and maintenance operations. This key leadership position entails overseeing the development and execution of annual budgets, multi-year planning, and capital enhancements across our fleets and facilities, directly aligning with our strategic business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in advancing our organizational mission and executing special projects!

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, exemplified through leadership and the implementation of practices that prioritize safety as a fundamental aspect of all work activities. You will ensure cohesive planning and integration across the Operations division, encompassing departments such as Service Planning, Transportation Services, Maintenance, and interfacing with Strategic Planning, Financial Planning, and Information Technology, among others.

Responsibilities include managing overall operations performance, leading improvement initiatives like LEAN/Six Sigma, and overseeing budgetary and operational forecasting with a focus on cost containment and revenue enhancement. The role also involves directing the division's involvement in major capital construction projects, developing intergovernmental agreements, and providing oversight for large-scale initiatives.

You bring a strategic mindset to the development of performance objectives, quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, this position encompasses management responsibilities, including staff oversight, performance management, and professional development.

Compensation
Salary:   $135,157.00 to $202,735.00 per Year
