Quality Assurance Manager
A reputable manufacturing company located in Western Montana is expanding its team and is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead and support our Quality Assurance and Production teams. With a strong track record spanning 40 years, this company has been producing high-quality precision products that have gained recognition nationwide.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years’ experience in a Quality Assurance role or related fields, possess strong leadership abilities and a proven track record of driving performance towards organizational goals. As a key player on this team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, from developing inspection procedures to participating in cross-functional meetings, while acting as the company's Management Representative.
Salary: $75K to $85K, depending on experience

Essential Functions and Duties:
Provide guidance, counsel, direction, support, training and expertise to Quality Assurance and Production personnel
Set limits for the activities of employees so that the company can proceed toward established objectives
Formulate the Quality Assurance operations budget
Accountable to management for the overall performance and success of all department employees
Review and approve manufacturing and assembly instructions for adequate point of inspection operations and determine appropriate documentation for inspection points
Assist with the development of finished product and component receiving inspection procedures and requirements for all projects
Review, verify and maintain quality assurance records
Participate in the review of design, manufacturing, purchasing, and test documentation
Participate in all department planning, operational, budgetary and training meetings
Act as the company Management Representative
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and 5 years’ experience in related area
B.S. Engineering or Management
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance or related fields preferred
Able to demonstrate effective leadership and communications skills in a manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable in general business and management principles
Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Able to use analytical and observation skills for comparison of work products to predetermined standards
Technical knowledge of quality assurance processes and procedures
